This multilingual volume of over 550 pages is written as concrete poetry, with a non-hierarchical design between image and text, events and documents, performers and viewers. The book depicts stories and storytellers within the channel between the Korean Peninsula and the Hawaiʻi archipelago, he pilina that began in 1903. The book was published on the occasion of Sung Hwan Kim’s exhibition at SeMA (2024–2025).
